Thoughts about Newsletters

As someone who needs to be up-to-date with the trends in the bedding industry, I signed up for many relevant newsletters. I was expecting to get news, new trends, interesting photos of bedrooms/bedding sets and sometimes promotions. I ended up getting just promotions every single day: 20% off, 30% off, 20% off sale price etc.

As a customer, I like certain brands because of the design and quality of their products. Price does matter,  but it's certainly not the main factor. And when a brand stops talking to me about its products and shifts his focus to price only,
I lose interest. 

Nevertheless, if everyone else is doing that it means that I'm not A typical customer, right? what are your thoughts?
