Sleep different. Sleep in ART.

Sunny Saturday and memories...

Saturday noon, sunny day outside after two weeks of rain. So we had to go out with the gang. Our little stroll in a sunny but cold day with 3 kids reminds me of how it all started.

The story of ARTnBED started soon after my wife Sharon and I got married. We spent four amazing years living in Paris and enjoyed our time there immensely, strolling the beautiful boulevards, exploring the museums, sampling the rich cuisine and soaking up the sights and sounds. We landed in Paris just the two of us and a few months later our elder daughter was born.

It was during this time we have discovered a shared passion for art. Slowly we began to acquire special pieces and found that they transformed our living space. When our time in Paris was over, we left this lovely city with a trunk full of memories, paintings and two beautiful daughters.

Once we settled and began to furnish our new home, our passion for artwork was carried over into our decorating. So when we went into a home decor store to shop for new bed linens, we were looking for something with a unique style. Although finding quality bedding was easy, we were disappointed to find nothing original, inspiring or evocative in design.

When we didn't find what we were looking for at other retailers, we realized that here was an opportunity for fine bedding with a twist – incorporating original artwork with luxury linens. We have decided to print colorful modern art paintings on duvet cover sets, to bring the vibrancy and spirit of art off the walls, and onto our beds. That's how ARTnBED began!

And our today's little stroll in the park reminds me of these days in Paris where we had only one Parisian girl to take care of. That girl will turn 15 next month…. Here's a photo of us in Paris.

Loved the story … I wish I could travel to Paris and “feel the art” there
